Kurt J. Dannwolf, President and Design Principle at ODP Architect & Design, leads the team of architects and designers with his innovative approach that pushes design to its limits. “Design has the ability to create an experience and we want the experience to transcend the expected”, says Dannwolf, who remains personally involved in all aspects of ODP projects. “Our creative process is extremely thorough — from concept to final execution — so we can deliver our desired depth of concept and richness into built forms”.
Mr. Dannwolf has 20 years experience with high-rise and mixed-use buildings, including The Four Seasons Hotel and Tower, the Dacom Headquarters in Korea, and the Telecom Headquarters in Buenos Aires, Argentina. That is no coincidence that Dannwolf was recently awarded Zaha Hadid’s prestigious 1000 Museum Luxury tower in Miami. His intense approach to details will allow him to achieve the highest level of finish required of a project that will re-define Miami’s skyline.
Prior to founding ODP Architecture and Design, Dannwolf worked for two of the world’s premier high-rise architectural offices in New York, Gary E. Handel + Associates and Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF). He received his Bachelors of Architecture at Pratt Institute, where he graduated cum laude, and received the Pratt Circle Award for Design Excellence.
Mr. Dannwolf is a registered architect in Florida and New York, and maintains NCARB certification that permits registration reciprocity in the majority of the States. He is currently a professor at Florida Atlantic University, School of Architecture.
